Curt Swindoll, PKE ’00

Curt has been named executive vice president of strategy and integration at The Pursuant Group, a full-service fundraising and communications consulting firm.

Curt has more than 25 years of experience in strategic and operational leadership and has worked extensively in donor development and marketing for mission-minded organizations. He will lead the strategic development of Pursuant’s services to the faith-based market. He will also manage the integration of acquisitions and services across all Pursuant Group brands.

“Curt has a gift for casting vision and then determining and executing the necessary steps to get there. He will be an incomparable asset to Pursuant and our clients,” says Trent Ricker, president of the Pursuant Group.

Prior to his new post, Curt was executive vice president of strategic initiatives for Energy Education, a privately held professional services company working with K-12 public school systems, universities and large churches on behavior-based energy conservation.  Curt spent more than six years as founder/CEO of Cool Strategies, a national consulting firm working with nonprofits on strategic planning, board development, mission/vision development, fundraising and donor development, technology integration, sales and product development, and operational best practices.

Curt has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops on nonprofit management, fundraising and other leadership topics. He taught a masters-level nonprofit leadership program at Biola University for four years, and is a thought leader in fundraising, leadership and strategy. His articles have been published in Christian Management Report, Insight for Living’s newsletter, and the Engstrom Institute Knowledge Resource Center. Curt holds a Presidential/Key Executive MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
